Fiscally Jones’s mission is to equip new and aspiring small business owner moms with the tools, skills, knowledge, and understanding they need to not only squeak by at tax time unscathed each year, but to truly master and confidently manage their finances profitably.
The purpose of your finances is to serve you and to provide you and your family with the money you need to start living the life you’ve always dreamed of!
I’m here to help you avoid many of the pitfalls and failings that I and so many new entrepreneurs make when they decide to start a business of their own.
At the end of 2017, due to some big life changes, I needed to start earning additional income for my family. I found myself despairing about and dreading the prospect of rejoining the corporate accounting workforce after being a stay-at-home-mom while working part-time as a bookkeeper at our church for the previous 9 years.
I shed many tears over the idea that I wasn’t going to be able to be as present and active in the lives of my 2 boys because our family desperately needed me to earn more income than I was. After months of struggling with this decision, I stumbled across a YouTube video by Gillian Perkins that opened my eyes to the world of entrepreneurship.
After talking with my husband, I chose to take the plunge into entrepreneurship, and I‘m so glad I did!
Since starting my business I have been able to earn money to help my family financially while still being able to be present for my family. This was an especially incredible blessing when we chose to switch to homeschooling our two boys in 2020. The ability to grow and run my business while still being able to homeschool, help my husband who suffers from chronic health issues, and still enjoy time with my family has been an absolutely amazing and utterly life-changing blessing.
This has all sparked a passion in me to help other women who may be in a similar situation to the one I found myself in back in 2017 and 2018. You don’t have to decide between earning an income or being present for your family. In the world we live in today, there are so many options available to us!

Over the last 4 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of small business owners in very different niches, and I’ve learned so much about the financial struggles of new and aspiring entrepreneurs. I also learned firsthand how having financial knowledge and understanding of accounting doesn’t always translate to knowing how to run and grow a profitable business.
Mine and many of my friends’ and clients' early business days were filled with:

Being hindered by intimidation, fear, and confusion about managing business finances.

I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity God has blessed me with by allowing me to provide so many women with the tools they need to pursue their dreams and provide for their families while still prioritizing their time with them.

I’m a huge nerd and proud of it!
I love reading fiction novels and would be perfectly content to curl up with a book and some tea for hours on end.
I am a huge Kdrama fan! I can and have lost hours of my life to binge-watching Kdrama episodes. (Who needs sleep anyhow right? lol) I also really enjoy Anime and Manga.
I love just about anything Asian! ... (Especially Japanese & South Korean) the food, the culture, the languages, the music, the art, the entertainment.
My top bucket list travel locations in no particular order are South Korea, Japan, Iceland, Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska, New Zealand, and Scotland.
My family and I love to go hiking and camping although we don’t get to do it as much as we would like despite living in Colorado, which is the perfect location for both. Our favorite hiking and camping trip though was going to Banff in Canada and hiking on a trail from Lake Louise to a tea house on a summit where we had the most delicious chocolate cake!
I was married at 19 to my amazing husband Randall after only being engaged for one month and dating for 5 months. We are now only a little over a year away from our 20th wedding anniversary in 2023 which will mean we’ve been married longer in our lives than we were single!
I spend all day with my 2 boys, Aaron & Noah since we homeschool and I work from the same room which means I live in teen/pre-teen boy insanity all day long (lol)
I have a hobby/crafting/art addiction! I love to learn and try new things all the time, but I also struggle with actually finishing things unless I have a purpose or deadline for them. Some of my favorite hobbies are drawing, painting, sewing, embroidery, cross stitching, and crafting costumes.
My family and I have crafted period clothing and accessories for Rennaissance Festivals for over 5 years and have built up a collection of pirate and Viking clothing. (Viking is definitely my favorite!)
I almost decided to start a custom cake business instead of a finance business until I worked as a cake decorator to try it out beforehand and after a few months, I was completely burnt out. I made some really fun cakes over the years before then though! My favorites were 3 different Tardis cakes, a shire cake, a castle, a death star, and my cousin’s wedding cake which I made a ton of edible, realistic-looking flowers to decorate with.
I’m a major fantasy and sci-fi geek. Some of my favorite shows, movies, and books fall in this genre. To name a few: The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, Doctor Who, The Wheel of Time (books), Star Trek, Star Wars, The Corean Chronicles, Harry Potter, The Lightbringer Series, Mistborn, The Inheritance Cycle, …. I could probably go on forever on this!
This probably comes as no surprise, but I love math and numbers. It was always one of my favorite subjects in school and if I hadn’t gone into business management and accounting I would have instead worked towards a teaching degree so I could teach high school math.
